Recruit Profile
Dedicated athlete with grit! Competitive team player who enjoys bringing out the best in teammates. Coachable and hard working - on and off the court.

My name is Bridget Fenner. I am a 16-year-old Junior at Mazama High School in Klamath Falls, Oregon. I started playing volleyball when I was in the 3rd grade. I was introduced to club volleyball and have played with the Basin Bombers Volleyball Club ever since. I was most recently on the BBVC 16-1 team and had a great time expanding my volleyball IQ and increasing my skills. I enjoyed playing varsity for my high school (both my freshman and sophomore years) and look forward to continuing to represent my school in my junior and senior years.

In addition to indoor volleyball, I enjoy playing beach volleyball. I have competed in the Seaside Tournament and multiple beach tournaments throughout Oregon. During the COVID shutdown, we built a sand volleyball court in my backyard. I have enjoyed taking the opportunity to play any chance I get.

Over the last several years, I have also taken private and small group lessons for indoor and sand volleyball. Most of my indoor lessons are from Andrew Clifton and Ken Murczek (OIT Head Women's VB Coaches) who have helped me improve in all areas of my game.

When I am not playing volleyball, I enjoy learning new sports. I played golf for my high school and look forward to joining the track team in the spring of 2021.

At my high school, I am involved in advanced placement college classes. I am part of my schools STEMM program, on a medical (the second M of STEMM) pathway, as I would like a career in the medical field. I am involved in HOSA, which is Health Occupation Students of America. This program lets you compete in health related events as a team, on both the state and national level. I am also a Knight Scholar through Oregon Health Sciences University.

When I am not playing sports or going to school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I like traveling and being outdoors. I spend most of my summers working as a lifeguard for my local community pool.

I look forward to the opportunity to continue playing the sports (indoor and/or beach volleyball) I love while attending college. I hope to be part of a team and a program that works together and supports one another while playing competitively.

I have worked with Bridget primarily in the setting position and she continues to develop. She has been working on squaring up, dumping, and jump setting. She works hard and has a good attitude.
