Terri Jimenez


Terri Jimenez coached at Pine Crest School for 11 years resulting in 3 state championship teams. She was named as the Sun-Sentinel and Miami Herald Coach of the Year in 1998, 1999, 2001, 2002, and 2003. After coaching at Pine Crest for 3 years, Terri realized that her players needed year-round training to compete with the elite programs in the area. It was at this time that she founded Boomers and Pine Crest volleyball became competitive. Terri was named as the head coach for North Broward Prep for the 2005 season and brought the eagles to their first district championship and regional final in 2009. In 2009 Terri became the Director of Volleyball at Saint Andrew's School in Boca Raton. She along with her son Hugo, Steve and Capri Grotowski built a strong volleyball program before leaving in 2014. Terri has actively coached for the past 19 years at all age levels. This past season she coached the 14 Black team that qualified for Junior Nationals. Terri was the 11Black Coach as well as the director of the Boca and Fort Lauderdale Regional Programs for the 2014-15 season. This season she will be assisting with all of the teams and directing the club as well as serving as the head of recruitment.
